Our franchise process is straightforward, transparent, and designed to help you successfully launch and grow your PONKO Chicken business. Follow the simple steps outlined below to join the PONKO family and begin your path to success.

Submit Your Interest

Start by filling out our franchise inquiry form. We’ll gather some basic information about your background, experience, and goals to determine if PONKO Chicken is the right fit for you.

Initial Consultation

Our expert franchise development team will contact you for a one-on-one consultation. This is your chance to learn more about the PONKO brand, discuss the opportunities available, and ask any questions you may have. Our development team will walk you through what it takes to become a franchisee more in-depth, support you through financing and the application process, and also provide you with a complimentary FDD review call as part of the process.

Review Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)

Once you’ve decided to move forward, we’ll provide you with our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). This document outlines the terms of the franchise agreement, the financial requirements, and everything you need to know to make an informed decision.

Attend Brand Experience Day

At our Brand Experience Day event, you’ll get a firsthand look at our operations, meet our team, and experience what it’s like to be part of the PONKO family, along with enjoy delicious food! This is an essential part of the process, helping you understand our culture and the business.

Sign Your Franchise Agreement

Location Selection & Build-Out

With our support, you’ll choose the ideal location for your PONKO Chicken restaurant or food truck. We assist with site selection, lease negotiations, and the design and build-out of your space.

Training & Grand Opening Preparation

Our comprehensive training program will prepare you for every aspect of running your franchise. From food preparation to customer service, our team ensures you’re fully equipped for success. As your grand opening approaches, we provide marketing and operational support to ensure a smooth launch.

Grand Opening

After completing training and getting your location ready, it’s time for your grand opening! Our team will be there to help ensure your launch is a success, creating excitement in the community and drawing customers to your restaurant or food truck.

Application Process and Criteria

  • Application: Before the signing of a Franchise Agreement, we need to receive your completed Application package for final review before approvals.
  • Evaluation: Our franchise development team will evaluate your application based on factors such as your experience, financial background, and passion for the PONKO brand.
  • Financial Requirements: Ensure you meet the financial criteria, including liquid capital, net worth, and the ability to cover the initial investment.
  • Franchise Agreement: Once approved, we’ll present the Franchise Agreement for your review and encourage you to seek legal and/or professional 3rd party business advise.
  • Brand Experience Day: Participation in our Brand Experience Day is mandatory so we can mutually evaluate one another.

Timeline from Application to Grand Opening

  • Week 1-2: Submit your application and schedule a consultation with our franchise team.
  • Week 2-4: Review the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and sign the agreement if you choose to move forward.
  • Week 4-8: Attend the Discovery Day and finalize your location selection.
  • Week 8-12: Begin site development and build-out with PONKO’s support.
  • Week 12-16: Complete training and receive grand opening assistance.
  • Week 16: Host your grand opening with full marketing and operational support.
